Product Description

Francis turbine designed to develop 5 HP atapproximately 1250 RPM with a discharge of approximately 2000 LPM under a headof 15 m. The turbine runner shall be fitted with curved vanes and preferablyprovided with an observation window for demonstration purposes. The unit shallinclude an electrical dynamometer, digital pressure gauge, and digital RPMmeter. Water shall be supplied through a centrifugal pump delivering 2000 LPMat 20 m head coupled to a 15 HP motor. Flow measurement shall be through an electromagneticflowmeter or calibrated orifice meter with digital differential pressuremeasurement. The setup shall include an SS 304 sump tank of approximately600-800 L capacity, complete GI piping, valves, fittings, and control panel.The rig shall be suitable for determining turbine output power and efficiency.
