Verticalshaft Kaplan turbine designed to develop 5 HP at approximately 1500 RPM with adischarge of 6000 LPM under a head of 5 m. The unit shall include adjustableguide vane arrangement, electrical dynamometer with loading unit, digitalpressure gauge, and digital RPM meter.
Water shall be supplied through acentrifugal pump delivering 6000 LPM at 8.5 m head coupled to a 20 HP motor.
Flow measurement shall be through an electromagnetic flowmeter or equivalentdigital flow measuring system.
The setup shall include an SS 304 sump tank ofapproximately 800 L capacity, complete GI piping, valves, fittings, and controlpanel.
